Toy Story Land Grand Opening Ceremony Photo Moment
The Honorable John Tsang, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Mr. Shao Qi Wei, Chairman of the National Tourism Administration of the People’s Republic of China were present as Guests of Honor to help kick off the official launch of the first themed area of the Resort’s expansion project.
Ronny Tong, Legislative Council Member and Guests had a thrilled ride on RC Racer with Bill Ernest, President and Managing Director, Asia Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Andrew Kam, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Joe Lanzisero, Senior Vice President, Walt Disney Imagineering – Creative.
Bill Ernest, President and Managing Director, Asia Walt Disney Parks and Resorts greeted Stephen Young, Ambassador, US Consulate General, Paul Tse, Legislative Council Member and Pamela Pak, District Council Member.
Toy Story Land enters the 15-day count down to the grand opening. The first phase of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort expansion project, the exclusive-to-Asia Toy Story Land brings the magic of Toy Story to life, shrinking every guest to the size of a toy!
Sarge is recruiting new soldiers to join Andy’s troops for a high flying adventure at the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop. When Sarge yells “Go! Go! Go!,” Guests best hold on tight as they’ll fall from 25 meters high in a simulated parachute drop. Over and out!
Andy's speediest toy car is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. The 27-meter tall U-shaped RC Racer is the most thrilling new ride in Toy Story Land.
Toy Story Land creates a new adventure that enables Guests to feel as though they’ve shrunk to the size of a toy and play with their favorite Toy Story characters in Andy’s backyard.

Hong Kong, July 8, 2011 – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort announced today that it will introduce new pricing and offers effective from August 1, 2011. The new prices for a 1-Day Ticket will be HK$399 for General Admission Ticket* (aged 12–64), and HK$285 for a Child Ticket (aged 3–11).
