Financial Secretary Encourages ‘Little Warriors’ to Face Challenges with Positivity at HKDL-Organized “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Opening Night

 HONG KONG (December 17, 2015) With Star Wars: The Force Awakens” being officially released in Hong Kong today, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) invited around 100 children, youth and their parents and caretakers from charities including Little Warriors, Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong and Po Leung Kuk to enjoy the movie together.

HKDL was privileged to have the Financial Secretary of the HKSAR Government John C Tsang as the Guest of Honor to watch the new movie with the ‘little warriors  and their families to celebrate the festive Christmas season. HKDL organized the event to encourage the children and youth to face challenges with courage and to spread the positive energy of happy living.


HKDL is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Throughout the years, the resort has been a responsible corporate citizen by continuously contributing to the Hong Kong community and spreading positive energy through different projects. HKDL not only partners with NGOs to sponsor park tickets, welcoming over 100,000 underprivileged community members to the park each year through the Community Involvement Program, but also brings happiness to the community through various outreach activities.
