Hong Kong Disneyland celebrates 10th anniversary with NGO partners HKDL shares happiness with more than 1,000 from 10 social welfare groups

HONG KONG (September 12, 2015) – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) continued its 10th anniversary celebrations today alongside several of its long-term NGO partners, continuing its commitment to making Hong Kong a better place through corporate citizenship efforts. In honor of the resort’s 10th birthday, the resort invited more than 1,000 recipients from 10 NGOs and local organizations to have fun in the park. These special guests included hospitalized children, the elderly, underprivileged families and the physically challenged.
HKDL is proud to call Hong Kong home, as it remains deeply devoted to giving to the community through various projects that have a lasting, positive impact on society. Since the opening of the park on September 12, 2005, HKDL volunteers have contribute more 50,000 hours hand-in-hand with various charities and local organizations. Through the “Community Sharing Program,” hundreds of thousands of underprivileged residents have also been able to enjoy the park since the park first opened.
