Now in its fourth successive year, “10K Weekend 2019 – Presented by AIA Vitality”, co-organized by Amateur Athletic Association (AAA), is bigger and better than ever with day and night races

Gather Your Pals and Chill at “Toy Story & Pixar Pals Summer Splash” Only at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

Guests are sure to be thrilled by the return of the popular Pixar Water Play Street Party! – newly upgraded with even more water elements, including two new floats based on Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

Guests can receive double the splashes from the Pixar-themed floats and units, which will bring refreshing water as high as 7 meters!

Pixar pals are also gearing up to capture the perfect photo moment with guests, including Bo Peep in a fresh new look from Toy Story 4.

More than 40 time-limited food and beverage items will be available across the resort this summer, some of which are to celebrate the release of Toy Story 4. Guests can pick up an Alien Tumbler Sipper or a Woody or Buzz Lightyear Sip Sip.

More than 1,000 guests, including government officials, key Marvel representatives, Marvel fans, media and celebrities, gathered for a sneak peak of the highly ant-icipated Marvel-themed attraction Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! set to open to the public this Sunday, March 31.

Also at the Ceremony were actor Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios; Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment; Peyton Reed, director of Ant-Man and its sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp; Stephen Broussard, producer of Ant-Man and The Wasp.

With an explosive story, immersive media and a larger-than-life show set, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! is a one-of-a-kind interactive adventure. It is the first attraction ever to feature the iconic characters Ant-Man and The Wasp, and is also the first-ever Marvel attraction in a Disney Park to feature a female Super Hero as a title character.

“I grew up going to Disney parks, and now to be part of an attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland is a dream come true,” said Paul Rudd. “I can’t wait to share this experience with my kids – they’re going to love it!”

A Hong Kong native, Leslie is the Chief Engineer of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Science and Technology Pavilion who oversees all of the pavilion’s research and development. Leslie is played by Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) who is the first Hong Kong artist to be invited to play a Marvel character.

To celebrate Mickey’s birthday, HKDL hosted “Mickey’s 90th Anniversary Celebration” and invited hundreds of Mickey fans, including local influencer Kay Tse, community members of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Disney VoluntEARS and other beloved Disney Characters to a one-of-a-kind party along Main Street, U.S.A..

Kay Tse, a big fan of Mickey, said, “I’ve shared so many memorable moments in my life with Mickey, especially at Hong Kong Disneyland. Throughout it all, Mickey has been a constant source of happiness and positivity for my family and friends.”

During the climactic moments of the show, Mickey and our fabulous party host, Minnie, appear in their brand-new birthday outfits that complement the party’s colorful exuberance.

For example, recyclable cups were introduced in some races for the first time and the number of reusable cups was increased to reduce the use of paper cups this year.

Starting from November 7, 2018, HKDL will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. Every single guest is invited to join the “World’s Biggest Mouse Party”!

The celebration of everybody’s favorite mouse will ramp up with new elements highlighting Mickey’s legacy, including Mickey and friends-themed park tickets.

Popular Disney characters sporting new elements will appear in a series of seasonal events, held year-round in 2019.

HKDL selects an Ambassador among 5,000-plus full-time Cast Members every two years. As a representative of HKDL and all Cast Members, the Ambassador devotes time to community services, such as participating in Disney VoluntEARS activities, to spread Disney’s magical power and positivity to the community.

Leung is excited for HKDL’s multi-year expansion from now till 2023, which will bring new attractions and entertaining experiences to guests, including the newest Marvel ride “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!” debuting next year and the newly transformed castle in 2020.

As Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) marks its 13th anniversary today, it announced Melody Leung, a Cast Member from Hotel Operations, Business Solutions & Events, has been selected as the 2019/20 Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Ambassador, effective January 1, 2019.

Sammy Phu will continue to promote the Disney spirit after the end of his ambassadorship and create magical experiences for guests.

The new “Magic Gateway” Guest Service Center provides in-town check-in, baggage transfer and free shuttle bus service especially for guests with a reservation at any of the three HKDL themed hotels.

Running from today to October 31, guests are welcome to join the fun from day to night with the one-and-only Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of the classic Halloween film, “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.

As we step back into Town Square, Jack Skellington appears in the doorway and beckons for us to enter. The Pumpkin King will teach everyone how to scream and truly get into the Halloween spirit.

Greeted by the Mayor at Halloween Town, guests will then venture into Dr. Finklestein’s Lab, where Sally desperately needs your help to put Dr. Finklestein to sleep.

From there, enjoy even more scares in a haunted alley, on the way out to the wild Hinterlands, and in the unpredictable lair of Oogie Boogie!

Little guests can put on a Halloween costume and go on series of missions to uncover the password for the candy box and enjoy free candies! They can also unleash their creativity and make their own Disney handicraft like a Jack Skellington-themed door tag, Sally-themed towel art or a tricky treaty candy bag.

Legend has it that the Cowboys and the Miners who once populated Grizzly Gulch have returned to continue their feud. The whole township was unaware that they were poisoned and by the strange green water which emanated from the geysers and sent them all mad. At all Hallows Eve, the deceased denizens will come back to the ghostly gold-mining town to settle old scores every hour.

In the dark hours, the Jungle River Cruise is not quite as one remembers. It will be transformed into a voyage of terror from which we hope you return! Those joining the perilous quest will have to count on the Navigator and the Skipper on board the boat to guide them through the Adventureland jungle.

Mystic Point, the final chapter of Hong Kong Disneyland’s first expansion project, will officially open on May 17, 2013.

Originally designed as a Victorian mansion, Mystic Manor is infused with international elements, inspired by Lord Henry’s adventures around the world.

The Explorer’s Club Restaurant is divided into five themed room offering 16 special dishes. Guests can admire the themed décor as they savor the wide array of delicacies.
